The avocado food and wine festival has been running for a number of years now, and continues to attract a lot of visitors each year.

Started by the Katikati Funfest Charitable Trust in 2003, the festival has grown annually and has become a summertime favourite for locals,and visitors, young and old.

It was an initiative of the PAKEKE LION’S CLUB OF KATIKATI as a fund raiser for local community groups.

2013 will once again see us DONATING FUNDS TOWARDS THE COMPLETION OF THE CANCER SOCIETY’S NEW LION’S LODGE IN HAMILTON.

PAKEKE LIONS and KATIKATI LIONS will be out and about selling RAFFLE TICKETS for this project.
